Ingesting Cacao can be a simple daily ritual, or it can be done for the purposes of transformative journeys. When I offer cacao to others, I am mindful to do so through honouring the traditional ways in which Mama Cacao has been revered in South American cultures for thousands of years.
As we Westerners have been graced with access to this powerful healing plant medicine, it is right that we dedicate proper time and space to really listen to her message, and let her healing magic move through our body/mind.
In this ceremony…
We will open and close the space in a respectful way, inviting the ancestral, animal, seasonal, and energetic essences to support and protect us as we imbibe a ceremonial dose of cacao.
Connect with our seasonal intention, receptive to inspiration and aspirations
March being the Virgo Full Moon, we will look to illuminate our path towards greater health through rituals and routines that serve. Listening and acting upon inspiration for Reviving Rituals that serve our highest purpose.
You will then be guided on a Shamanic journey accompanied by the sound of the beating drum.
In March, we will dive into the subconscious realms, connect with The Spirit of Ix Cacao, and listen for wisdom that connects us to the Earth and the practices that will support our wellbeing here.
Vocals and songs are used as a way to create a special atmosphere for you to be deep within yourself and your personal journey.
Movement, dance, collective song, and sharing are all part of this experience.
Please note that the drumming is continuous for many parts of the ceremony, so if you have sensitivity to sound, you may bring ear plugs in order to receive the vibrations physically.
Likewise, drinking cacao is optional, and an alternative can be provided for you - please mention upon booking.
